Experience Opens the Door. Delivering Results Makes You an Interim Manager.
Moving from a permanent executive role into interim management requires a clear answer to one question: Which business situation am I particularly well equipped to resolve?
This was the focus of the ICEO & DSIM Executive Dialogue on 1 October 2026, hosted at LHH in Zurich. Claire Morain, ICEO Practice Lead Switzerland, and Daniel Niederberger, DSIM Board Member, welcomed participants from the LHH programs for an evening of practical insights and exchange.
Drawing on an over 25 years of top-level experience, Dr. Frank Lugert explored how interim managers support transformation, bridge leadership gaps and address operational pressure. Discussions also covered positioning, market entry and mandates in SMEs and semi-public organisations.
An impressive CV provides credibility. Interim impact comes from building trust quickly, understanding priorities and taking responsibility for execution. Clear objectives, decision authority and agreed outcomes help create the conditions for success.
For companies, the corresponding question is: Where could experienced leadership help us regain momentum or navigate a critical transition?
DSIM connects practitioners and strengthens the profession in Switzerland, supported by international exchange through INIMA.
Our thanks go to Claire Morain, Dr. Frank Lugert, Barbara Claudia Hamela, Philippe Mondoloni, Christophe Touton and the LHH-ICEO team for their contributions and collaboration.
